February 25, 2003 Meeting

Benefits of ASP and Single Application Architecture Design

Speaker: Snehal Shah

The move is to eliminate paper forms and migrate functions to online solutions. More and more, companies are taking advantage of the internet because they see how web-based solutions save time and money. Web-native suite, designed to automate business operations such as: Time & Attendance, Benefits, HR, and Expenses is the fastest-growing trend. Gone are the days of packaged software that need software gurus to install and maintain and require a substantial initial investment in Hardware and Software.

With just Internet Access and a Web Browser, Web-native suites, designed to automate business operations such as: Time & Attendance, Benefits, HR, and Expenses are now available. Access to the software is fast and available from any PC, any where, anytime. This new technology requires no IT/Database Admin overhead, no Software/Hardware investment, no upfront costs. The predictable per-employee/per-monthly pricing structure, makes it more affordable than traditional client/server-based applications. Pure Internet applications can be deployed and improved more rapidly than licensed software, speeding the delivery of innovation to the user. Additionally, Web-native software is more reliable than software that is licensed and maintained internally.

Please join us with Snhal Shah, President and founder of Iemployees, www.iemployee.com, for an exciting evening on introduction into benefits of single application architecture. Snhal is a graduate of Harvard University and SUNY has worked in mission critical software industry for the last 20 years. Snhal will explain the benefits of a single application architecture. How your company can save time and maintence cost by having one application with a single Login/Password with a common look and feel graphical user interface. Why the ASP process will eliminate double entries in different applications. How you can run report using data fields across all applications. Why it is efficient to have a one time implementation and single load of data for all functions. Snhal will also be assisted in the presentation Thomas Connelly of Iemployee, Tom has 7 years experience in the IT industry and was the founder of local high technology company firms such as Unisys, Stream Technology, and Neteos founder of Freedom Technology solutions.
