October 1999 Meeting The Vision and Project Goals of IT for the State of Rhode Island Speaker: Barbara Weaver, CIO Ms. Weaver will talk about the State's major project IT goals -- available on Information Resource Management Board's website . She will also talk about the progress the State has made since the CIO position was established, and what she plans to to do both in the near future and long-range. Accompanying Ms. Weaver will be Sally Spadaro, the State's Y2K coordinator, as well as Howard Boksenbaum, who is in charge of IT operations. The presentation will also include a discussion about what Ms. Weaver hopes state government can do with e-commerce. |
